- The collection consists of correspondence between Sam Hamill, of the Copper Canyon Press, and sisters Tina and Marianne Wolfe, principally concerning “The Berrypicker”, a book of poems by Marianne Wolfe that was illustrated by Tina Wolfe. There are also letters between the sisters, with references to the literary journals “Silo” and “Spectrum”.

Biography/History
In Seattle in the early to mid-1970s, sisters Tina and Marianne Wolfe were poets, friends and occasional house mates with Sam Hamill and Tree Swenson, founders of the Copper Canyon Press. The Copper Canyon Press eventually published Marianne’s book “The Berrypicker”, which was illustrated by Tina.
Scope and Content
The collection consists of correspondence between Sam Hamill, of the Copper Canyon Press, and sisters Tina and Marianne Wolfe, principally concerning “The Berrypicker”, a book of poems by Marianne Wolfe that was illustrated by Tina Wolfe. There are also letters between the sisters, which provide context to their relationship with Sam, including references to the literary journals “Silo” and “Spectrum”. References to “Houn” are to Tina’s dog, Calhoun.
