Historical Newspapers (Microforms) – What are microforms? They are very small worksheets you fill out with a micropen while thinking microthoughts. No, they are storage products that contain miniaturized versions of newspapers, magazines and other kinds of written documents. To read a microform, you put it in a “reader” which magnifies the pages back to their regular size. You cannot check out microforms (you probably don’t have a spare microform reader at home anyway), but you can make print and electronic copies from microforms (for information about printing and copying microforms, go to Where and how do I find historical newspapers (microforms)?).
