- Collection contains architectural drawings of university buildings.
Background:
The buildings of Washington State University are managed by two departments. Facilities Planning is primarily concerned with construction, while the Physical Plant department is concerned with maintenance, repair, renovation and minor capital construction.
Arrangement note
The drawings are arranged in one sequence, ordered by the Building Number system of the University. Thereunder, original drawing numbers are used to establish sequences.
Some drawings are too large to fit in the storages cases. These are denoted as oversize in the inventory and are located in map tubes adjacent to the storage cases.

The architectural drawings comprising this group of records have been drawn together from various sources, chiefly from the Dept. of Physical Plant. The drawings were received by the Libraries on many separate occasions. They have been arranged so as to accommodate future accruals.
