Biographical/Historical note

The Nabata family of Wapato, WA were farmers who were sent to Heart Mountain Relocation Center for internment during World War II, from 1942 to 1945.

Scope and Contents note

This collection consists of three photographs collected by the Nabata family, taken at Heart Mountain Relocation Center during World War II. They are black and white prints (4 inches by 10 inches). One is an unidentified group portrait. The others are images of the camp showing camp buildings with Heart Mountain in the background. One of these is stamped "Photo by Oku."
