Scope and Content

Photographic negatives depicting residents of Endicott (and vicinity), Washington, in the 1950s. The majority of the images are studio portraits, and most of the subjects are children. Some non-studio, non-portrait negatives are included, apparently mostly intended for newspaper use.

The collection was donated on March 16, 1991 by Heidi Dowling of Colfax, WA.

Processing Information

Materials were received in highly acidic envelopes, and so rehoused. Labeling from the envelopes was transferred to the new housing, and envelopes with extensive information were photocopied to acid-free paper.
