Biography/History
The Washington State Crop Improvement Association (WSCIA) was established in 1946 as a non-profit organization in connection with Washington State University, Washington State Department of Agriculture, and Washington seed growers. The WSCIA supports the improvement of crop yields through the development and production of seeds.
Scope and Content
(MS 2010-09):
This collection contains papers for the Washington State Crop Improvement Association (WSCIA), from 1976 to 1996. The collection includes the organization's newsletter the WSCIA Seed Buzz, copies of the magazine Seedsman Northwest, and a conference announcement for the North Idaho Seed Association conference.
(MS 1978-07):
This collection consists of Washington State Crop Improvement Association annual meeting programs and seed buying guides (1947-1978).
