Scope and Content

This collection consists of papers of Ron C. Faas, Washington State University agricultural economist, dated 1978-2000. The materials relate to WSU Extension programs. A detailed preliminary inventory is on file at the repository.

The materials are organized in five groups: Washington economic, fiscal, and social impacts of community growth (CE project 210) including the Western Rural Development Center's "Coping with Rapid Growth" project (recognized as outstanding extension program by the American and Western Agricultural Economics Associations); Faculty Governance; Local Government Education (CE Project 217); Economic Development and Community Change (CE Project); and Public Policy Education.
