Biographical

[From the collection guide for Cage 634]

The Ingleside Club was organized in 1917 and joined two other women's literary societies in Pullman, Washington: the Fortnightly Club and the Pullman Historical Club. At its founding, this third organization was devoted to the study of music and art. Throughout its existence, the club has also emphasized service, and has been active in various civic activities.

This collection contains records for the Ingleside Book Club of Pullman, Washington, from 1917 to 1986. It includes meeting minutes (1963-1979), club yearbooks (1921-1986), copies of club bylaws and constitutions (1917-1986), as well as correspondence (1963).
