- This collection includes 2 copies of the memoir Marking Time by David Farrell Mayo and 1 USB containing a letter relating to the memoir transmittal, a digital copy of the memoir, David F. Mayo’s resume, and a digital copy of “The Mayo Family of Kentucky (1804 to 2004)”. David F. Mayo is a Spokane-based attorney who has worked with domestic and international humanitarian agencies. The memoir details his experiences and family background. The Mayo Family migrated from Virginia to Kentucky, Illinois, Texas, Washington, and other states between the seventeenth and twentieth centuries.

Biography/History
David Farrell Mayo was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1950. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in History from George Washington University in Washington, DC in 1972 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati in 1977. In addition, he received a Masters in Public Health from Harvard University in 1991 and a Technical Certificate in Carpentry from North Idaho College in Coeur D’Alene in 1997. He has worked extensively with the United States Peace Corps in multiple countries, in addition to working internationally with other non-governmental organizations (NGOs). He also worked domestically with such organizations as Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA), AmeriCorps, Teach for America and the New York City Department of Education. David F. Mayo is currently based in Washington state.
