Biography/History

The Alliance for the Women's Commission and ERA was a Pullman, Washington based grass-roots advocacy organization. Its main purpose was to promote passage of the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) to the United States Constitution, and passage of Referendum 40 (1977), a state ballot measure about establishing a Washington State Women's Commission. The referendum failed.
