Biography/History
Alfred Bisbee Butler, 1911-1997, graduated from Washington State College with a 1935 bachelor’s degree in Physics and a 1944 master’s in Education, and taught there from 1943 to 1975.
Scope and Content
This is an 11 page typescript history of Washington State University’s World War II era radar research, written by Alfred B. Butler. Primary researchers include Paul A. Anderson, S. Towne Stephenson, Kenneth Fitzsimmons, and Charles L. “Chick” Barker. It is undated, but written no earlier than 1959.
