Biography/History
Julia Duckworth Stephen (1846-1895) was the niece and goddaughter of Julia Margaret Cameron and wife of Leslie Stephen. Mother of eight children, including Virginia Woolf and Vanessa Bell, Stephen was a nurse and author.

Scope and Content
This collection consists of: manuscripts and typed transcriptions of short stories, primarily for children, and essays on domestic life. Includes typed transcriptions with annotations and insertions, which were added to the collection in 2003.
