Scope and Content

The business records of Charles A. Blodgett, storekeeper, are comprised of 57 ledger books containing accounts, inventories and miscellaneous notes regarding the operation of general merchandise stores in Victor and Kalispel, Montana (1900-1902) and in Spokane, Washington (1902-1941). The Spokane business was generally known as the Blodgett Mercantile Company.
