Minutes, 1956-1981

The minutes of the College of Engineering Advisory Board, were transferred to the University Archives, Washington State University ca. 2006. The records were processed in April 2008 by Mark O'English.

ORGANIZATIONAL SKETCH

On January 1, 1946, the Washington State Institute of Technology was established by the Board of Regents. The Institute included the College of Engineering, the School of Mines, the Division of Industrial Research, and a Division of Industrial Service. The Institute was reorganized in July l966 and became the College of Engineering.

ARRANGEMENT AND DESCRIPTION

The minutes of the Advisory Board of the College of Engineering also include a limited number of papers and pre-conference documents. From November 1962 forward the biannual meetings are numbered sequentially, with November 1962 being the 30th Meeting. The minutes, and all accompanying documents, are arranged chronologically. Minutes from 1969-1972 (missing here), can be found in UA 11 (Department of Agricultural Engineering Records), Box 1, folder 28.
