The collection is arranged in alphabetical order by subject. Several of these subject areas are quite extensive and have been sub divided into minor headings that are arranged either chronologically or alphabetically.

Scope and Contents note
This collection of miscellaneous photographs depicting the history of W.S.U. covers a wide range of subjects, from photographs of buildings on campus to campus visitors.
Arrangement note
The collection is arranged in alphabetical order by subject. Several of these subject areas are quite extensive and have been sub divided into minor headings that are arranged either chronologically or alphabetically. For example: Athletics is arranged alphabetically by individual sports and each sport is subdivided chronologically. If one were looking for a photograph of the 1945 Basketball team, one would first look under Athletics, then Basketball, then 1945. Regents and Faculty members, unlike Athletics, have been arranged into subdivisions alphabetically by name.
