Biographical/Historical note

The Pullman Chapter of the National Organization for Women began as a student organization in about 1972. The purpose of the chapter, and the national organization, is promoting equal rights and dignity for women. Over the span of its existence, the chapter has been involved in various activities designed to raise feminist consciousness. It also follows a wide array of issues related to its goal of gender equality.
