This collection consists of speeches and panel sessions of the Institute on Northwest Affairs, Reed College, Portland, OR, July 10-21, 1939. Most of the documents relate to public policy subjects, including natural resource management (forests, minerals), energy production, labor, city planning, education, Social Security, and wildlife management and conservation. All of the documents are mimeographed typescripts.
