To develop guidelines for the kinds of materials appropriate for the two primary library collection storage areas on the Pullman campus (the locked and unlocked compact storage in the basement of the New Library and the Owen Library storage area) and which make the most effective use of these areas. These guidelines must be sensitive to both the current and future uses of these facilities.
To develop efficient and workable procedures for the transfer of materials in and out of these two storage areas that are cognizant of the transportation, bibliographic access, and shelving requirements for such transfers and storage.
