Scope and Content

This collection consists of two volumes (173 and 248 leaves) of bound manuscript ledgers from the New Jersey practice of veterinary surgeon J. B. Finch, from the period 1896-1918. The volumes include name indexes; chronological lists of customers, suppliers, and miscellaneous purchases; descriptions of medicines and fees; explanations of specific treatments, including dental surgery, for a variety of animals.
